The Dompeter and the Saint-Ulrich Chapel with Commentary
The Dompeter is the oldest church in Alsace, while the Saint-Ulrich chapel is notable for its tetraconch plan, a rare four-leaf (quadrilobe) architectural design. Its octagonal Romanesque bell tower has earned it the nickname "Baptistery." These two buildings, located about 850 meters apart, require an approximately 11-minute walk for a group. It is important to note that access and parking for a large bus are not possible on site. For an optimal visit, it is recommended to choose morning hours or after 4 p.m. on weekdays.
