Authentic Christmas in Barr

As December wraps Barr in its winter magic, the town transforms into a true Christmas fairy tale.

The Old Town, bathed in light, invites you to stroll through streets where every alley becomes a sparkling passage. Between illuminated arches, the enchanting scents of Bredele cookies and mulled wine fill the air, while festive decorations, entertainment, and Christmas chalets set up around the Town Hall, on Dr Sultzer Street, and near the Folie Marco Museum.

More than seventy artisans and merchants enliven the Christmas market, open Saturdays from 2 PM to 8 PM and Sundays from 11 AM to 7 PM, offering their creations and specialties. A tasty break is a must in the heart of the historic center, where treats, mulled wine, and crackling fires provide comfort and warmth. At nightfall, the magical illuminations and fire breathers, whose program is yet to be confirmed, complete this enchanting atmosphere.
