Exhibition: Anne Muller-Lassez

Psychologist and teacher Anne Muller-Lassez settled in Strasbourg in 1965. She devoted herself to artistic creation from the early 1990s, making wooden collage boxes often closed by an ornate glass pane. These works, inspired by mixed techniques and various materials, both natural and industrial, form microcosms where imaginary stories unfold. Supported by Raymond E. Waydelich, a major figure in collage boxes, she also drew inspiration from Joseph Cornell's universe.

Her compositions, resembling cabinets of curiosities, explore time, memory, and legends, transforming fragments rescued from oblivion into poetic scenes. The exhibition also features artists from the Rhine region who adopted the box as a medium, including Raymond E. Waydelich, Hervé Petit, Jean-Léonard Stosskopf, and Daniel Depoutot.
