Participatory Nature Worksite

The Conservatory of Natural Spaces of Alsace and the City of Haguenau are organizing a participatory nature worksite to protect a unique ecosystem.

The Haguenau aerodrome is home to sandy grasslands, extremely rare habitats in France, composed of plants adapted to poor and acidic soils.

These environments contribute to local biodiversity but are threatened by the spread of invasive species that disrupt their natural balance.

By joining this worksite, you will actively participate in eradicating these unwanted plants to preserve this fragile natural heritage.

The meeting point is on Saint Exupéry Street (between numbers 11 and 13), very close to the aerodrome. Please wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions, and note that you can have your meal on site by bringing your own picnic.
