Debate: What New Connections Can We Build with Wetlands?

Wetlands, those spaces where water and land intertwine, evoke a complex relationship among the Ried residents—both necessary and ambivalent.

Researchers propose viewing these ecosystems from a fresh perspective by exploring the bridges that can be built between humans and these fragile environments.

Through fiction, imagination, and innovative legal frameworks, they invite us to rethink our relationship with these natural spaces, often seen as constraints or areas to control.

This reflection, enriched by public discussions, opens up new possibilities for creating more respectful and creative connections with these environments essential to biodiversity.
