Santa Claus's Arrival by Boat and Christmas Market

Nestled in the heart of the Ried, this picturesque village sees Santa Claus temporarily trade his sleigh for a more local vessel: a flat-bottomed boat, perfect for navigating the canals winding around the houses.

Accompanied by angels, elves, and the Christkindel, he makes his way to the Christmas market set up in the village center, where a warm atmosphere invites leisurely strolls.

Between sips of mulled wine, visitors enjoy bredele and other Alsatian treats, meet Santa Claus in person, and fill their baskets with handcrafted decorations and small gifts to brighten the holidays. A magical getaway where tradition and conviviality flow together along the water.
