Blood Drive

The Mutzig/Gresswiller Volunteer Blood Donors Association mobilizes five times a year to organize blood drives in the community. These events save lives and are open to all: donations are free, voluntary, and anonymous for healthy individuals aged 18 to 70. The drives take place at the Mutzig community center from 4 PM to 8 PM and are followed by a snack offered by the association to thank donors for their commitment.

A new challenge has been added to this mission: increasing plasma donations. This blood component plays a key role in the production of medicines and transfusions, but current medical needs far exceed the amounts collected in France. Every donation helps reduce this dependency and ensures the country's self-sufficiency in plasma.
