Concert - Hannah - Hertrich Jazz Project

This jazz quintet was formed in spring 2022, born from the meeting of guitarists Rick Hannah and Bernard Hertrich. The former is from Philadelphia, USA, while the latter was born in Strasbourg.

Their musical collaboration began in Munster during a jam session organized as part of the 2012 Jazz Festival. It was then that they met, before realizing their project a decade later.

Their ensemble is based on polyphonic arrangements of swing and bebop compositions, interspersed with crooner song standards. For this project, they surround themselves with professional musicians from the region, each bringing their expertise to the group. The quintet consists of Rick Hannah and Bernard Hertrich on guitars, Jean-Luc Miotti on double bass, Guillaume Singer on violin, and Daniel Dupret on drums.
