Théâtre de Neuve-Eglise (TNE)

The Théâtre de Neuve-Eglise (TNE) invites you this season to discover the comedy by Michel Walch, adapted from the work of Pierre Chesnot, titled "Hollywood uf'm Starnabari."

The story revolves around Magali, who takes advantage of her husband's absence—he's an officer in the Navy—to welcome her lover Jean to her chalet in Starnabari.

Three weeks of happiness seem to await them until Cécile, Jean's wife, decides to join her husband at the hotel where he claims to be staying for professional reasons, escaping a more polluted-than-ever Paris.

Jean, a film director used to improbable scenarios, must then double his imagination to hide his affair from a suspicious wife.

Forced to improvise, he tries to welcome her at the "Les Jonquilles" hotel, but lies, misunderstandings, and unexpected arrivals quickly turn the stay into a real nightmare.

With a cast of 12 actors on stage, this play promises overflowing energy, colorful characters, and a flood of comedic situations where anything can change at any moment.

So step through the door of the "Les Jonquilles" hotel, settle in, and get ready to laugh out loud.
