Christmas Concert - With the Gospel Quartet

Immerse yourself in a musical and human experience with the Gospel Quartet at a Christmas charity concert in the Pays de Sainte-Odile. This Strasbourg-based group, active since 2018, offers a vibrant and authentic interpretation of Gospel, a genre born from English Protestant hymns and deeply marked by the history of Black slaves in the southern United States until the 19th century. Between lively rhythms and emotionally charged melodies, their performance powerfully tells this painful chapter of history while celebrating the resilience and spirituality that gave birth to this music. The proceeds from this concert will be donated to the associations Obern’aide and Les Amis des Pensionnaires des Berges de l’Ehn, dedicated respectively to helping people in difficulty and supporting residents of a medico-social facility.
