On the Road to Christmas with Baron Ludwig von Sinclair

Photo: ©Association Flâneries, Histoires, Et Caetera

Embark on a twilight stroll alongside Baron Ludwig von Sinclair, lord of Oberbronn from 1710 to 1738, and his faithful valet Erwin. Wander through the picturesque alleys of the old village, where every stone tells a story. The walk ends in the lordly lodge of the 15th-century Protestant church, a place full of history and charm. Comfortably seated, with a glass of mulled wine or warm apple juice in hand, you will discover the little-known origins of Christmas traditions in Alsace, narrated by the baron himself. To conclude this moment, enjoy the delicious Bredle prepared by Erwin. A friendly and cultural experience to share with family. In case of bad weather, the outdoor walk will be canceled in favor of extended time inside the church and its lordly lodge.
