Christmas Lights Hike in Gengenbach

Embark on a 7.5 km hike through the vineyards overlooking Gengenbach, a charming German town twinned with Obernai. The route offers stunning views of the medieval city before leading you to discover small chapels scattered throughout the landscape. Continue your walk by exploring the old town, with its picturesque streets and well-preserved architecture. The outing concludes with an immersion in the warm atmosphere of the Christmas market, where you can admire the famous giant Advent calendar, a symbol of the festive season. The hike lasts about 3 hours and features a moderate elevation gain of 250 meters, suitable for most participants in good physical condition. The participation fee is €2 per person for the Club Vosgien insurance, to be given to the volunteer guide during the outing, plus €5 per person for carpooling (100 km round trip), payable directly to the driver.
