Christmas Market of Gastronomy and Crafts
From late November through the end of December, the Christmas market sets up in the town's streets, offering an intimate and warm atmosphere. The illuminations and natural fir decorations highlight the Renaissance architecture of the town center, creating a magical ambiance for visitors. Around the central squares, artisans and producers showcase their creations and local products in wooden chalets. Amid the scents of gingerbread and mulled wine, visitors can discover handcrafted gifts and local gourmet specialties. A tasting of Obernai white mulled wine, offered by the Winemakers' Corporation, allows savoring a unique flavor while enjoying the friendly atmosphere around the steaming cauldrons. This market also celebrates Alsatian gastronomy, honoring Christmas culinary traditions in Alsace. The market is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., until 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. It is closed on December 25 and closes at 4 p.m. on December 24 and 31.
