Sacred Motets for the Christmas Season

The Amaritude ensemble invites you to discover a concert of sacred motets, a form of vocal polyphony that reached its peak in the 16th century after breaking free from its medieval roots.

These works, based on sacred texts, are distinguished by the independence of the voices, imitative entrances, mode modulations, and varied cadences.

The concert will be performed acoustically, illuminated only by the soft glow of candles, for an immersive and intimate experience. The performers,
