Guided Tour of the Rhinau Island National Nature Reserve

The Rhinau Island National Nature Reserve is one of the last areas of Rhine forest still subject to the river's flooding.

Its lush vegetation has earned it the nickname of the "Rhine jungle." During an accessible walk of about two and a half hours, you will explore the natural treasures of this site, its history, and its unique ecosystem. The outings may be canceled in case of Rhine flooding or unfavorable weather conditions.
