Trilingual Christmas Show

On Wednesday, December 16 at 4 PM, the media library hosts a trilingual Christmas show led by Isabelle Grussenmeyer. This author, composer, and performer, specializing in songs in Alsatian and other languages, describes herself as a "Lìedermàcherin." Between dream and reality, she highlights the traditions and iconic characters of Christmas in Alsace.

Isabelle Grussenmeyer, who has spoken the dialect and sung since childhood, began her stage career at age 11. At 17, she composed her first songs.

Her career took a turn in 1990 after meeting René Egles, who introduced her to dialectal song, notably on the stage of the Strasbourg Palais des Congrès. This Christmas show, specially designed for children, promises an immersion into the festive and cultural world of Alsace.
