Fallen from the Sky

Ilyes leads a happy life in the suburbs of Roubaix, but his world turns upside down when he fails the baccalaureate exam twice in a row.

As his final attempt approaches, a fire breaks out during a mock exam and he is unfairly accused of causing it.

Expelled from his high school, Ilyes is forced to leave his neighborhood and family to join the Catholic boarding school of Saint-Albert-le-Grand in Burgundy.

This sudden change confronts him with a deep cultural shock, between his urban background and the values of a traditional religious institution.

Beyond the necessary adjustment, Ilyes embarks on a quest for redemption, both for himself and for others, who must also overcome their own prejudices.
