Exhibition: Faces of Archaeology

Archaeology in Alsace is the result of collaboration among passionate professionals: archaeologists, historians, restorers, technicians, and volunteers.

These often overlooked contributors work in the field to uncover and preserve remnants of the past.

Once field research is completed, discovered artifacts are studied in laboratories, analyzed, and sometimes restored.

The collected data enriches knowledge of regional history, while objects are preserved for future generations.

Through a story told in 20 images, this exhibition reveals the hidden side of Alsatian archaeology, celebrating its 20 years of existence.
