Christmas Nativity Exhibition
Dive into a unique nativity scene where traditionally colored statues come to life in a setting carefully enhanced over the years.
The second part of this work features avant-garde characters, entirely crafted from local clay by Jean-Paul Frindel, a professor at the Strasbourg School of Decorative Arts.
These statues, turned and modeled in a local pottery workshop in 1974, showcase remarkable artisanal skill and creativity.
Today, the nativity is enriched with contemporary creations by local potters. These works, in a very modern style, are displayed in new, original locations, offering a refreshed visual experience.
For a deeper insight, visitors can tour the artists' workshops, where the local pottery tradition continues.
