AAMAKO invites you to discover on the museum's first floor an exhibition titled "From Hops to the Spirit of Beer."

Alsace, the leading hop-producing region in France, has a long and deeply rooted brewing tradition.

In the Kochersberg, nicknamed the land of green gold, some hop farms still exist today.

Many nostalgically remember the Hopfe Zopfe, a collective activity of sorting hop cones that once brought together women and children.

While some local breweries were absorbed by large European groups, the late 1990s marked a turning point with the return of high-quality artisanal production, driven by microbreweries highlighted in this exhibition.
