Christmas Workshop: Prepare for Christmas by Making Beautiful Handmade Greeting Cards (from 5 years old)

As the holiday season approaches, the Musée de l’Image Populaire – François Lotz invites you to a workshop centered on the traditional paper piercing technique.

Guided by models inspired by festive themes, participants will use a punch to create delicate patterns made up of numerous tiny holes. Stars, snowflakes, Christmas trees, and other winter decorations will come to life under their fingers, reminiscent of the craftsmanship once used to embellish devotional images and cherished keepsakes.

The magic happens when light passes through the paper, revealing the poetry of this meticulous technique. At the end of the workshop, everyone will leave with several unique greeting cards, ready to be given or sent to loved ones. A creative and calming activity where patience, skill, and the holiday spirit come together to celebrate Christmas.
