November 11th Commemoration

Every year, France and many other countries commemorate November 11th to mark the anniversary of the Armistice of the First World War, signed in 1918.

This solemn event pays tribute to soldiers who died for their country and celebrates the end of the fighting.

Official ceremonies, wreath-laying, and moments of silence are held across the country, often attended by local authorities and veterans' associations. This commemoration highlights the importance of peace and collective memory.
