Storytelling Walk “S’Christkindel kommt - The Arrival of the Christkind”

On Christmas Eve, the streets light up and the air fills with the scents of bredeles and gingerbread. Children, eyes shining, eagerly await the arrival of the Christkindel, while perhaps fearing an encounter with the dreaded Hans Trapp. Let yourself be transported into the enchanting world of traditional Alsatian Christmases, where customs, tales, and centuries-old legends intertwine.

For an hour and a half, follow a storyteller dressed as the Christkindel through the town's alleys. Along the way, she will reveal stories and legends once shared during Christmas Eve gatherings. Between wonderful tales, iconic characters, and delightful anecdotes, this walk immerses you in a warm and authentic atmosphere true to Christmases of the past.

The walk alternates between stories told in French and Alsatian, in a version adapted for everyone to ensure a full immersion.
