SolHimal is a non-profit Alsatian association committed to supporting Himalayan populations, particularly in Nepal and India, as well as Tibetan culture.

It mainly operates through sponsorships, especially of children, and the development of sustainable local projects.

The association also organizes major solidarity exhibitions and sales in the Grand Est region, showcasing authentic items made directly by Nepalese artisans and Tibetan refugees. These creations include clothing, jewelry, rugs, shawls, bags, statues, singing bowls, Buddhist ritual objects, spices, teas, rice paper, and much more.

In response to the disaster that struck Nepal and Tibet on August 26, 2026, SolHimal has intensified its support for the victims by mobilizing its Kathmandu office. Its efforts focus on four priorities: education, food, shelter, and healthcare. To strengthen its aid, the association has launched an online fundraiser accessible via its website www.solhimal.org.
