Concert: Arthur Hinnewinkel (Piano)

Arthur Hinnewinkel, a pianist as inventive as he is virtuosic, continues his exploration of the Romantic repertoire after two years devoted to Schumann, one of his favorite composers. He now focuses on Brahms, revealing a lesser-known work by this master oriented towards tradition. To illustrate this diversity, he contrasts Brahms with Mussorgsky, his contemporary whose bold writing gave rise to one of the greatest masterpieces of piano literature.

A finalist in the 2023 Clara Haskil International Competition and winner of the 4th prize at the 2025 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Belgium, Arthur Hinnewinkel has made a strong impression with a noted album dedicated to the concertante works of Robert Schumann.
