Concert - Cock Robin

Peter Kingsbery, originally from Austin, Texas, first trained in classical music before moving to Nashville where he began a career as a musician and songwriter.

In the 1970s, he played keyboards for Brenda Lee during tours in the United States and Japan. In 1982, he founded the band Cock Robin, whose self-titled album was released in 1985.

With a distinctive voice and a keen sense of composition, the band achieved notable success: six singles reached the French Top 50, and two albums, After Here Through Midland (1987) and Words Apart, were certified platinum records. After a hiatus, Cock Robin reformed in 2006 and released two new albums, I Don’t Want To Save The World and Song From A Bell Tower, both critically acclaimed. In 2014, Peter Kingsbery moved to Paris and completed Chinese Driver, the band's first album without Anna Lacazio. Released in March 2016, this album blends electro, pop, and rearranged covers, followed by 36 concerts. In 2017, a five-track EP, Lollobrigida, was released, featuring original compositions and a reinterpretation of "Thought You Were On My Side."

In 2018, the band evolved with the addition of an electric guitarist for their concerts. After five years away from the stage, Cock Robin announced a European tour in 2027, 85-89, focusing on the band's first three albums.
