Immersive Theater - Poisson Blanc

On the border between reality and dream, a unique immersive experience comes to life on a lost island in the heart of Lake Poisson Blanc, in the Laurentians. Nicole and Amélie, two friends, arrive by canoe to camp, but their encounter with Joshua, a man unable to distinguish dream from reality for ten years, turns their stay into something strange. Insomniacs against their will, they face inexplicable phenomena: a fish stranded on the shore, a fire that goes out on its own... Is this a sudden awakening or a dive into peaceful death? Around a campfire, the Ersatz company offers a dreamlike thriller where nature becomes the stage for an intense sensory exploration. The audience, seated in an immersive setup and equipped with bone conduction headphones, is plunged into a world where insects seem as large as birds and where rocks almost seem to speak. An evening where art and ecology blend without ever becoming didactic. The show is followed by a concert by Alex Jacob, co-composer of the original music of Poisson blanc, mixing doom, post-rock, and dark folk, with industrial sounds, ethereal voices, and stormy incantations.
