Mushroom Festival

This new edition of the Mushroom Festival in Eguisheim promises to be full of discoveries and flavors. On the program, a mycological exhibition will be held from 9 AM to 6 PM at Place Mgr Stumpf, organized by the Mycological Society of Haut-Rhin (S.M.H.R.). Two mycological outings guided by experts are scheduled each day at 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday, by reservation through the Tourist Office.

Truffle enthusiasts can visit the official Alsace market, where certified fresh truffles will be offered for sale, accompanied by exhibitions and conferences. A local market highlighting mushrooms will also take place from 10 AM to 6 PM around the event.

For dining, light meals under a musical tent will be available from 11 AM to 6 PM, offering mushroom-based specialties. Several Eguisheim restaurants will also offer special “mushroom” menus during the event.

Finally, a photo exhibition will be visible at the JL Freudenreich Cellar, and entertainment will enliven the streets throughout the day.
