Sainte Catherine Fair
The Sainte Catherine Fair in Ensisheim continues a tradition dating back to 1466, the year Catherine of Burgundy, wife of Leopold IV of Habsburg, obtained privileges for the town.
Each year, this event transforms the Rue de la 1ère Armée, Ensisheim's main street, into a lively market featuring around a hundred artisans, merchants, and hawkers.
At the same time, the Artists' Club organizes an annual exhibition of paintings, sculptures, and marquetry, freely accessible at the Palais de la Régence.
