Theatre - The Great Tides
A father shows up at his son's place in the middle of the night without warning. The son, surprised and upset, wonders why his father is there at such an hour.
The tension between them is palpable: friends are waiting for the son, and this unexpected visit disrupts his plans. Why has the father come? What does he want to say or resolve?
The two men talk, size each other up, relive memories, sometimes laugh, but also hurt each other like two boxers in a ring. Their intense and emotional exchange lasts until dawn, until one of them seems defeated, exhausted by the confrontation.
This play, titled *The Ephemeral House*, is an original creation performed by Allan Bertin and Guy Theunissen, written by Alex Lorette and directed by Brigitte Baillieux. The set design and costumes are by Renata Gorka, while the sound and lighting design complete this immersive experience. Suitable for ages 14 and up, the performance lasts 1 hour 30 minutes and can be booked via the Triangle or online.
