Race - Corrida Jean Ritzenthaler

On December 27, 2026, the 58th edition of the Corrida Jean Ritzenthaler will take place, organized by Neuf-Brisach Athlétisme. Participants can compete on a course of about one kilometer, to be run one or more times depending on the event. Several races are scheduled: the Schangala relay of 6.9 km in teams of three, starting at 10:00 AM; the 4.5 km racewalking event also at 10:00 AM; the popular 3.3 km race at 11:00 AM; and the elite 6.9 km race at 11:30 AM. A 900 m event called "The Whole Village Runs" is also planned with a start at 10:45 AM, but no bib numbers will be issued for this race. Registration must be completed in advance via the Sporkrono website, with no on-site registration possible. On race day, bib pickup requires FFA license holders to present their license, while non-license holders must provide a medical certificate of no contraindication to competitive running dated within the last year, except for the 900 m event. For the relay, each team member must provide a photocopy of their FFA license or a medical certificate.
