Workshop: Make Your Own Bredele
In Alsace, the tradition of Bredele, these festive little cookies shaped like stars, hearts, or moons, is carried on every year at Christmas. Flavored with cinnamon, anise, or dried fruits, they are enjoyed with hot chocolate, warm apple juice, or mulled wine, at any time and for any occasion.
To get introduced to this delicious custom, instructors offer a workshop where you will learn to make some Bredele recipes. At the end of the session, you will leave with the written recipes and, of course, the pleasure of tasting some Bredele still warm, just out of the oven. The workshops are open to families with children from 3 years old, provided the children are accompanied by a participating adult. Two dates are offered in December: Wednesday the 16th and Wednesday the 22nd. Reservation is mandatory and can be made directly online, by phone at 03 89 22 19 19, or by email at info@ferme-argentin.com.
