Circus: Same Same

In a world often marked by tensions, Same Same offers a bright interlude where cultures meet.

This acrobatic and musical show, performed by seven artists and three musicians, transcends differences to remind us of our shared humanity. On stage, contortions, juggling, Chinese pole, balancing acts, diabolo, seesaws, and aerial hoops intertwine in a choreography where each discipline tells a story.

The moving bodies, sometimes clumsy, sometimes virtuosic, illustrate everyday situations blending cultural gaps, laughter, and tensions.

Gradually, oppositions fade in favor of a collective energy, where spontaneity and exuberance become the carriers of a shared strength. All the artists of Phare, The Cambodian Circus come from Phare Ponleu Selpak, a Cambodian school founded in 1994.

This institution uses art as a tool for personal growth and social support for disadvantaged people, transforming hardships into creative impulses.
