Concert: Krzysztof Michalski | Cello

For those who know how to listen, chance sometimes brings beautiful encounters. Krzysztof Michalski is proof of this: it is by surrendering to his passion for music and the cello that this young artist has shaped his path. His talent, already recognized by prestigious competitions such as the ARD in Munich and the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Belgium, places him among the rising stars of his instrument.

This recital highlights the richness of the cello, an instrument whose every nuance Krzysztof Michalski masters. He begins with Bach, whose Suites for solo cello have elevated the instrument to the status of a masterpiece. Then, he explores the bold world of Penderecki with his Suite for solo cello, before concluding with the virtuosic energy of Cassadó in a rare and captivating interpretation.
