In Mulhouse, Christmas arrives with a touch of originality in the heart of the historic center. The traditional Christmas Market creates a warm atmosphere where Alsatian traditions blend with the city's rich textile heritage.

Upon arriving at Place de la Réunion, you'll be surrounded by lights, decorated facades, and the enchanting scents of mulled wine and gingerbread. Around the Saint-Étienne Temple, nearly 90 chalets offer a stroll through handcrafted creations, Christmas decorations, gift ideas, and gourmet specialties. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy a tarte flambée, savor bredalas, or simply soak up the festive atmosphere.

What makes this market unique is its connection to the city's textile history. Each year, a new fabric is specially designed to dress the chalets, facades, and streets of the city center. For the 2026 edition, the "Winter Garden" pattern, blending botanical and geometric inspirations, will adorn the festivities with its colors. Not to be missed, the Boutique aux Étoffes, located on the ground floor of the City Hall, offers this exclusive fabric transformed into accessories and decorative items, along with a selection of local creations. With treats, crafts, lights, and activities for all ages, the Mulhouse Christmas Market promises wonderful moments to share with family, friends, or as a couple.
