Youth Show: Nocturne (Parade)

Phia Ménard, a sculptor of materials and tamer of wind, brings plastic puppets to life by making them flutter with the help of fans.

These creatures, animated by the invisible breath of the wind and accompanied by enchanting music, take us on a poetic and light journey from darkness to light.

The show begins at dusk, when the light blurs, creating an atmosphere between shadow and clarity.

On a circular stage, flying objects, puppets with human shapes, or inflated landscapes perform a choreography where Life and Death face off in a perpetual movement.

This show, titled Nocturne (Parade), is a tribute to her father, who passed away shortly before its creation.

The music, blending Saint-Saëns' Danse macabre, Rossini's William Tell Overture, and Mozart's aria Der Hölle Rache, enhances the emotion and poetry of the piece.

Spirits wander, emotions surface, and the audience is carried away by the stories suggested by this dreamlike parade.
