Club Vosgien: The Scherlen Trail in Soultzbach

The Club Vosgien of the Munster Valley is organizing a hike on the Scherlen trail in Soultzbach-les-Bains on Thursday, October 29, 2026. This forest walk pays tribute to Auguste Scherlen, a historian from Colmar who passed away on a Sunday in November 1933 in this same locality. The route lasts about two hours, covering four kilometers with an elevation gain of 240 meters. It is rated easy, level 1 out of 5, making it suitable for a wide audience. Departure is scheduled for 2 p.m. from the train station square in Munster, with carpooling. Gérard Heinrich, an experienced guide, will accompany the group. Non-members of the Club Vosgien are asked to contribute 5 euros to cover insurance, while children under 12 pay 2 euros.
