Exhibition of Ancient and Contemporary Nativity Scenes

A highlight of the Alsace Nativity Trail, this free and open exhibition invites you to explore a variety of creations blending tradition and originality.

Artists and volunteers from the Munster Valley have designed nativity scenes set in caves, stables, or unexpected settings such as the Zacharie nativity, the temple nativity, and the Alsatian hamlet.

Wood, a symbolic material of the region, is omnipresent, accompanied by paintings and sculptures, with new pieces added each year.

This event highlights the spiritual meaning of Christmas through carefully crafted and evocative works. Guided tours are available by reservation at 06 04 04 06 15.
