The Foulées du Souvenir

The Foulées du Souvenir return this year for a new edition through the iconic sites of the First World War. Two trail routes are offered: one of 9.5 km with a positive elevation gain of 390 m, and another of 27.8 km with 1,260 m of positive elevation gain. These routes allow participants to discover the memorial sites of the Battle of Linge, offering a unique perspective on the Vosges Massif and the hiking trails around Orbey and its surroundings.

The 9.5 km route will start at 1:30 PM from Col du Wettstein and finish at the Linge Memorial Museum. The 27.8 km route will start at 12:30 PM from the Orbey multipurpose hall, with a common finish at the Linge Memorial Museum. Registration fees are set at €15 for the 9.5 km and €25 for the 27.8 km until October 31, then €18 and €28 respectively from November 1.

Bus shuttles will be organized to facilitate participants' return to the starting points. After the effort, physiotherapists will be available to provide care. A post-race meal can be reserved upon registration.
