Theater - Generation Mitterrand

In 1981, three thirty-somethings celebrate François Mitterrand's victory.

By 2022, they vote for candidates as diverse as Emmanuel Macron, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, or Marine Le Pen.

This show, titled *Eight Kings (Our Presidents)* and created by the Compagnie des Animaux en Paradis, offers a biting and humorous autopsy of this disenchanted generation.

Through sharp political satire blending humor and irony, the play dissects the flip-flops, betrayals, and cunning of an era where convictions sometimes waver.

Inspired by the vaudeville style of Feydeau, the story unfolds at a frantic pace, mixing comedy and politics to deliver a wild comedy.

A reflection on commitment and its contradictions, suitable for ages 14 and up, running 1 hour and 15 minutes.
