Tales: Otto & Other Stories by Tomi Ungerer

Dive into the poetic and committed world of Tomi Ungerer through a children's show that brings to life three of his iconic stories. On stage, Lucas Partensky revisits tales where imagination serves as a bridge to address profound themes with delicacy and accessibility.

With *Otto*, the audience follows the journey of a teddy bear through History, offering a sensitive perspective on the deportation of Jews and collective memory.

*Flix* tells the story of a dog raised by a family of cats, a fable about accepting differences and the strength found in what makes us unique.

Finally, *Zloty* takes viewers on a bold reinterpretation of *Little Red Riding Hood*, where a brave young girl tries to restore harmony between nature and the town's inhabitants.

This show, presented by the Epik Hotel company, is a wonderful introduction to Tomi Ungerer's work. The stories, both whimsical and meaningful, invite children and adults to reflect on universal values such as tolerance, respect, and coexistence, while celebrating the creative and subversive spirit of the Alsatian author.
