On the Silberwald Christmas Trail
Embark on a winter walk through the heart of the Gnome Valley, better known as the Zwarikalas. This 27-station route starts from the Stosswihr Community Hall, where the Silberwald trail begins. From the very first steps, the atmosphere invites calm and reflection, immersing you in the Christmas traditions that enliven the valley. The itinerary passes through iconic sites such as the Catholic church, where history and spirituality intertwine, before following the path to the Schweinsbach chapel, a 17th-century gem. Along the way, locals have decorated their homes, while elements of local heritage, like fountains and troughs, are highlighted to enhance this Christmas spirit experience.
