Club Vosgien: The Pierre des Trois Bans from the Fréland Pass

On Sunday, November 8, 2026, the Club Vosgien of the Munster Valley is organizing a hike to the Pierre des Trois Bans from the Fréland Pass.

This walk offers beautiful views over the communes of Fréland, Lapoutroie, the Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines valley, and Aubure. The departure is scheduled for 9 a.m. from the Auchan parking lot in Wintzenheim, instead of the usual departure from Munster train station.

Participants should bring a packed lunch. The hike lasts about 3 hours and 30 minutes, covering a distance of 11 kilometers with an elevation gain of 440 meters.
