18th Century Townhouse
Built around 1760, this house is the earliest known example in Mulhouse of a residence for indienne fabric makers.
It once housed a factory specializing in the production of indiennes, cotton fabrics printed with block-printed patterns inspired by the Orient.
This type of establishment highlights the significance of the textile industry in the economic and cultural history of the city at that time.
