Achilia Nature Chalet Holiday Rental

This three-star rated cottage, located in a quiet enclosed park in Sundhouse, central Alsace, offers comfortable accommodation for two adults and two children. Just steps from the Rhône-Rhine Canal and its cycle path, as well as hiking trails, it is a five-minute walk from the village center where you'll find a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, butcher, restaurants, and bars. Nearby, about 20 km away, is Europa Park in Germany, along with the Alsace Wine Route and typical Alsace villages. The vineyard is 12 km away, Strasbourg 45 km to the north, Colmar 35 km to the south, and Mulhouse with its Automobile Museum about 30 km away. The villages of Eguisheim, Kaysersberg, Ribeauvillé, and Obernai are also accessible, as well as Sélestat with its humanist library and the Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle. The Vosges mountains and Germany, including Europa Park, are a 20-minute drive.

The wooden houses, set in a green setting with trees and flowers according to the season, blend harmoniously with the landscape of the Grand Ried plain. The cottage features private parking, a pétanque court with boules, a shared barbecue area, and a bike storage room. On the garden level, a fully equipped kitchen-living room opens onto a large covered terrace with an unobstructed view of the park. The bathroom includes an Italian shower, a sink, and a toilet. There is one bedroom with a double bed and a small room suitable for a baby. The mezzanine, accessible by a loft ladder, offers two additional beds for teenagers. Books and games are available in the chalet. Upon request, end-of-stay cleaning, household linen, bed linens, and baby equipment can be provided. Cleaning products are also supplied in the cottage.

The Ried plain, rich in natural and cultural heritage, offers many activities: unusual visits, tasting local products, exploring villages, towns of art and history, castles, the wine route, amusement parks, and wildlife parks. Whether as a couple, family, or friends, on foot, by bike, boat, or canoe, and whatever the season, everyone will find their happiness here.
