Alfred Wallach Park
Wallach Park, distinguished by the "Remarkable Garden" label, is the only true French-style garden in Mulhouse.
It is especially notable for its rose garden, which houses more than 130 varieties of roses, as well as a boxwood embroidery parterre, a resting room, a small labyrinth, and a green carpet.
These different areas are connected by regular paths and stairs, while statues and sculpted plants highlight the perspectives.
Designed in 1935 by Parisian landscape architect Achille Duchêne for industrialist Alfred Wallach, this garden with harmonious lines and balanced proportions was gifted to the city in 1950.
It was opened to the public in 1961 and restored in the 1990s to regain its original style.
