Anabaptist Cemetery
This Mennonite cemetery, listed in the inventory of historical monuments, reflects a unique funerary tradition. Originally, Mennonites buried their deceased in their gardens, but from the 19th century, those in Salm chose a dedicated plot of land for this purpose.
The graves are marked by simple-shaped steles, often adorned with a single engraved heart. Unlike the cemetery in Bourg-Bruche, this one is no longer in use today. Located on private property, it is not normally accessible to the public.
However, it is generally open for visits during the Heritage Days held annually in September.
