André VIELWEBER Alsace Wines
This family-owned vineyard, passed down through eleven generations, cultivates five hectares of vines mainly on hillsides following organic farming principles. The diversity of soils allows each grape variety to thrive in distinct named plots, offering wines with unique characters. Notable parcels include Muehlforst as well as the Grand Crus Rosacker and Schoenenbourg. The grape harvest is entirely manual, combining respect for traditions with modern methods to meet the expectations of wine enthusiasts. The estate organizes activities to share this passion: guided tours with tastings are offered every Thursday at 4 p.m. by reservation (€12 per adult, lasting two hours), allowing visitors to discover the winemaker's craft, organic farming practices, and the cellar facilities. Friendly events like the “Picnic at the Winemaker's” are also offered on Pentecost weekend, by reservation. Finally, tourist grape harvests can be arranged upon request.
