Arboat by Frédéric Keiff
The Arbōat, designed by Frédéric Keiff, is an original sculpture combining wood, recycled glass, and metal.
Its root system is designed to welcome passersby, making it a meeting and resting place in the heart of the Jettingen community. Its foliage, made up of 10,000 unique buds, evokes both nature and human diversity: one can see silhouettes of characters, families, couples, or individuals of all ages and sizes.
Inspired by African palaver trees, symbols of dialogue and conviviality, the Arbōat reflects the cultural richness of the world and the Alsatian landscape.
This artwork is located on the presbytery square in Jettingen, accessible to all for a contemplative break or a moment of exchange.
