Arboretum

Since 2017, the Erstein Nature Ried Association (ANRE) has managed the Erstein Arboretum, a natural haven located in the communal forest behind the Krafft industrial zone. In partnership with the Agricultural Vocational High School, this site invites visitors of all ages to explore local biodiversity through simple and fun activities in a friendly atmosphere.

Pierre Hieber, a passionate nature guide and president of ANRE, leads tours with humor and enthusiasm. He shares the secrets of the trees, plants, and small creatures inhabiting this forest corner, providing an educational and entertaining experience.

Children enjoy games, workshops, and discoveries in the great outdoors, perfect for unique school outings or family moments. Whether you are a teacher, parent, or nature enthusiast, the Arboretum offers a refreshing break amid birdsong, far from urban hustle and bustle.
